Soccer Express, Canada’s largest soccer store, needed position themselves as
the leader in all things soccer. Their brand image needed to be on par with their suppliers
brands and advertising to retain buying and partner relations.
THE RED CARD X CONCEPT
No player wants to be sent off with a red card. A player who plays at an extreme level leaves himself exposed to the threat of a receiving a red card.
The X out of the card signifies the balance between extreme dedication and willingness to outperform and the dangers associated with next level play.
The Red Card with the X highlights the X. By being able to focus on the X we could then call this out in our communications to emphasize the brand.
